Step-by-step description

1. Place toaster on a flat and hard surface
2. Plug toaster in a wall power outlet
3. Switch power outlet on
4. Put one or two toasts in the toaster
5. Adjust cooking temperature high/low
6. Set cooking time
7. Push button to push toasts down
8. Light switches on? - Yes/No
9. Wait
10. Check colour of toasts 
11. Cooked enough? - Yes/No
12. Press eject button
13. Wait till toasts are cooled down
14. Take toasts out of the toaster
15. Eat

Occupation: retired carpenter
Hobbies: goes hiking in national parks, rides his harley-davidson, plays bingo, goes to the local Pub to catch up with the boys every thursday evening.
Toaster Usage: John has never used a fancy new electric toaster.

Internet usage:  PC occasionally browses the Internet with help of his grandchildren
Computer skills: Noticed user, Finds things to complicated on the computer to use. Has an email but doesn't know how to use it.
Ultimate Goal: Enjoy the rest of his life traveling a little and spending time with the family, especially his grandchildren.
Media Usage: Listens to the local radio and watches old Western movies with his wife Jill.
Health: As he gets older and has to visit the hospital more often, he prefers quick and efficient healthcare with simple Bold instructions and hospital signs.
